Born April 23, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Helen Sebolka Cigarski and was a life resident of Chase. She was employed by various dress factories in the Wyoming Valley, retiring from U.S.A. Manu- facturing Co., Courtdale, seven years ago. She was a member of St. Therese’s Church, Shavertown, and its Altar and Rosary Society. She was also a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Jack- son Township Volunteer Fire Com- pany. She and her husband, Carl V. Aston, celebrated thejr 47th wed- ding anniversary onJan. 13 1998. She was preceded in death by brothers, Charles, Albert and Jo- seph Cigarski, and a sister, Caroline Rusnak. Surviving in addition to her husband, are a son, Barry C. She was a graduate of Wyo- ming Seminary and the Ward Belmont School, Nashville, TN. She was an active member of the Penns Woods Council of the Girl Scouts. She was a member of the Na- tional Guild of Early American Decorators, a sustaining member of the Wilkes-Barre Junior League, a member of the Wyoming Valley Historical and Geological Society, and a charter member of Prince of Peace Episcopal Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, H. Robert; a son, Peter S., and a granddaughter, Laura. Surviving are sons, H. She and her husband cel- ebrated their 39th anniversary on July 4. She was preceded in death by brothers, James, William, Gardner and sisters, Lorraine and Caroly. Born in Sunbury, he was the son of the late Richard J.W. and Edith Elliott Templin. He attended Dallas Borough schools and was a graduate of West Pittston High School, Wyo- ming Seminary and Bliss Electri- cal School, Washington, D.C. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as an electrician by the Youngstown Steel Company. Later he was employed as an elec- trician for General Motors, Girard, OH. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Girard. He served with the U.S. Army in the Panama Canal Zone and during World War II in the Aleu- tian Islands. He was an active member of the American Legion, serving as Grand Master for many years. He was also a member of the Veter- ans of Foreign Wars and the Army- Navy Garrison of the Eagles. Surviving are his wife of 55 years, the former Fern Anderson; sons, Rick, Liberty, OH; Thomas, Polumbiana, OH; daughters, Marie, Girard, OH; Peggy, Scottsdale, AZ and Shirley, Hol- land, OH; sisters, Evelyn Eck, Shavertown, Kingston Township; Jeanne Maxwell and Mary Reese both of Dallas; brothers, William, Boulder, CO; Phillip, Meadville; Ralph, Denver, CO; Thomas and Fred, both of Dallas; 14 grand- children.
