Gospel tent meetings July 13-19 Gospel tent meetings, sponsored by the Jackson God’s Missionary Church, will be held July 13-19, 7:30 each evening. The tent will be located on the old horseshow grounds, Route 118, Lehman, near the Lehman Nursery. The evangelist and singers are Rev. and Mrs. Larry Major and family. Pastor Major is formerly from this area. He graduated from Lake- Lehman High School and was a member of the L.L. Band. He graduated from Penn View Bible Institute and has pastored churches in Pennsyl- vania, New York, Canada and Massachusetts. He is presently the pastor at Grand Gorge Pilgrim Holiness Church in New York. The Major family will conduct daily Vacation Bible School at the tent for children ages 4-13, July 14-17 each afternoon 1-3. The principal speaker was Manny Gordon, a 1935 PSU graduate in Forestry and well-known personality. He spoke about the importance of forests to the state's quality of life and economic health.
