CHARGES * Tunkhannock resident John Matthew Murray, 31, was arrested May 11 by Dallas Twp. patrolman Brain Feeney after police observed him driving erratically on Rt. 309. Murray did not pull over when wo officers signalled him, police said. Murray continued to drive on Rt. 309, swerving in and out of | the lane. He turned onto Sago St. where police blocked his vehicle. He was taken to Wilkes-Barre General Hospital where he took a blood alcohol test. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, fleeing or attempting to flee police, resisting arrest, failing to signal, careless driving and dis- regard for a traffic lane. The following people waived their right to a preliminary hearing before District Justice James Tupper. * West Wyoming resident Grant Downs, 26, arrested April 5 by Dallas Twp. patrolman Brian Feeney after police observed him driving erratically on Rt. 309. Boyle, Jr., 27, arrested Feb. 6 by Dallas Borough patrolman James Drury after police observed him driving erratically on Rt. 309 and E. Center Hill Rd. After failing field sobriety tests, Boyle was taken to Wilkes-Barre General Hospital where his blood alcohol level was determined to be .208, more than twice the legal limit. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, failing to yield to an emergency vehicle, driving at an unsafe speed and careless driving. ASSAULT CHARGED Nanticoke resident Brian Maslowski, 36, was arrested Feb. 9 by Lehman Twp. patrolman Sev Newberry after police were called to the residence of Lisa Maslowski and Gary Kosloski. Kosloski told police that Brain Maslowski entered the home and dragged him out of his bed while he was sound asleep. Mr. Maslowski began pummeling him with his fists until Kosloski got a bat to defend himself, police re- ports said: Lisa Maslowski held Mr. Maslowski at bay while the police were called. Mr. Malowski fled the scene in his vehicle.
