.died June 21, 1998, at his cabin
in Root Hollow, Wyoming County.
_ Born in Kingston, he was the
son of Emily Surwilla Bobeck,
‘Trucksville and the late John M.
‘Bobeck Jr.
He graduated from Dallas High
-School.
He was employed as a truck
driver by McCarroll Pre-Cast Con-
crete Co., Lehman. He served
with the U.S. Navy during the
Vietnam Era and was a member
-of the Daddow-Isaacs American
Legion Post 672, Dallas. ;
Surviving in addition to his wife
are daughters, Kelly Bobeck, Wyo-
ming; Kara Bobeck, Orange; sis-
ter, Carol Russell, Loxahatchee,
FL; one grandson; companion
‘Gienna Novick, Courtdale.
Memorial service will be 8 p.m.
Wednesday in the Richard H.
Disque Funeral Home Inc., 672
‘Memorial Highway, Dallas, with
the Rev. Hamilton G. Clemow of-
ficiating.

schools and the Bowman's Creek
Free Methodist Church.
He was a member of the South
Mountain Land Association and

JOHN GELSLEICHTER
John Gelsleichter, 100, of
Levittown, formerly of Sweet Val-
ley died June 17, 1998 at the Mill
Run Nursing Home, Bristol.
Born Oct. 17, 1897, in Wilkes-
Barre, he was the son of the late
John and Flora Gelsleichter.
He resided in Sweet Valley for
most of his life, where he owned
and operated a farm.
Before he retired, he was a
groundskeeper at Ricketts Glen
State Park.
Surviving are nephews, Fritz
and Robert Gelsleichter, both of
Shavertown, Kingston Township;
nieces Gladys Raphael, Shaver-
town and Lois Kemmerer,
Levittown.
Interment, Maple Grove Cem-
etery, Pikes Creek.
CLAUDE CRISPELL
Claude 1. Crispell, ‘91, of
Tunkhannock Manor, Tunkhan-
nock, ‘died June 18, 1998, at
Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born in Noxen, he was son of
the late Elmer and Margaret Jones
Crispell.
He formerly was employed at
the Noxen Tannery and operated
Crispell Farm Service for more
than 40 years.
He was a lifelong resident of
Noxen.
He was a member of Bowman's
Creek Lions ' Club, the
Tunkhannock Senior Citizen's
Center and the Noxen United
Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by
his wife, the former Helen
Lamberson; daughter, Audrey
Kocher, brother, Earl.
Surviving are sons, E. Lyle
Crispell, Port Richey, FL; Robert
J. Crispell, Noxen; seven grand-
children; 13 great-grandchildren;
sisters, Lisa Schenck and Ruth
Newberry, both of Noxen; and
Beatrice Traver, Vestal, NY.
Interment, Fern Knoll Burial

JOSEPH WOZNIAK
Joseph Wozniak, Sr., 78, of
Harveys Lake, died June 16, 1998,
at Wilkes-Barre General Hospi-
tal.
Born Feb. 22, 1920, in the Min-
ers Mills section of Wilkes-Barre,
he was the son of the late Harry
and Anastasia Bubychik Wozniak.
He was a graduate of
Swoyersville High School.
He was a U.S. Army veteran
serving in Naples and Foggia. He
was a prison of war and was deco-
rated with the Good Conduct
Medal, the European Theater Ser-
vice Medal with one bronze star
and the Victory Medal.
Before he retired, he was em-
ployed as a lineman for Jersey
Central Power and Light Co., New-
ton, NJ.
He was a member of St. John
the Baptist Orthodox Church,
Edwardsville.
He was also a member of the
Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post
283, Kingston, and a member of
the International Brotherhood of
Electrical Workers Union.
He and his wife, the former
Elizabeth Fedrow, celebrated their
42nd wedding anniversary in May.
He was preceded in death by
brothers, Peter, Paul, John and
Michael Wozniak.
Surviving in addition to his wife,
are a daughter, Dr. Sandra
Wozniak, Middletown, MA; sons,
Joseph Wozniak Jr. and Eugene
Wozniak, both of Harveys Lake;
two granddaughters; sister,
Josephine Wozniak; numerous
nieces and nephews.
Interment, St. Nicholas Rus-
sian Orthodox Cemetery, Pringle.
