Parrish, 95, formerly ROSE IDE 13, 1998, at Lakeside Nursing Center, Harveys Lake. Born July 22, 1905, in Beau- mont, he was the son of the late William Thompson and Addie Ryman Austin. He attended Beaumont and Coughlin high schools and gradu- ated from Bloomsburg Normal School and Penn State and Susquehanna Universities. He taught at Beaumont schools and later became principal there. He retired as elementary su- pervisor of the Dallas Area School District. He was an avid golfer and fish- erman. , He was preceded in death by a brother, Ray, and a sister, Olive Eggleston. Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. Born April 25, 1917, in Wilkes- Barre, he was the son of the late Burt B. and’ Glendora, E. Karschner Bryant Sr. He was a graduate of Keystone Jr. College and attended Syre- cuse University. Before he retired, he was em- ployed by the Buckeye Pipe Line Co., Dupont and operated the Bryant Pond Ice Co., Meeker. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War Il and was a member of the American Legion Post 672, Dallas. He was also a member of the George M. Dallas Lodge 531 F&AM, the Caldwell Consistory, Bloomsburg, the Irem Temple AAONMS, the Irem Temple Golf Edward Alex Siemiatkowski of Harris Hill Rd., Shavertown, Kingston Township died Apr. 19, 1998 at the Department of Veter- ans Affairs Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre. Born in Stanford, CT, he was the son of the late Alex and Louise Siemiatkowski. ‘He served with the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Church and American Legion Post 558 both in Plains Township. . Born in Carverton, Kingston Township, she was the daughter of the late Shay V. and Florence Anderson Lewis. She resided in Trucksville for 40 years. She graduated from West Pittston High School and Bloomsburg University where she reeived her teaching certification. She was employed as a school. teacher at Mountain School, Lewis Road, Franklin Township and later worked at Nesbitt Memorial Hos- pital, Kingston, until her retire- ment. She was a member of the Carverton United Methodist Church and Methodist Women.
