The program is free and open to the public. Robert Post is a charismatic performer who blends dialects, sound effects, props, sets, flawless comic timing and naturalistic action with his trademark physical style of “body graphics,” creating a new style of visual and verbal comedy. His arms, hands and elastic body transform onto constantly changing imagery. In four to six wildly different pieces, he portrays dozens of weird, funny, moving characters who could only stem from a nidne and hopelessly’ wacky mind. Over his 22 year career, Post has per- formed in almost every conceivable setting including university theaters, concert halls, street corners, dinner theaters, prisons, fac- tories, schools, homeless shelters, TV com- mercials, festivals, river boats, and with symphony orchestras. A television special, Robert Post - In Performance, has been regularly broadcast nationally over PBS sta- tions sinces its first showing in 1994. Post has received numerous honors in- cluding fellowships from the National En- dowment for the Arts and the Ohio Arts Council and commission grants from the New York State Council on the Arts.
