The Trustee Achievement Scholarship program now, in its 17th year, recognizes leading stu- dents. Up to five scholarships will be awarded to students who com- bine outstanding performance on the competitive exam with a solid record of citizenship and achieve- ment. Several Back Mountain stu- dents are currently Trustee Achievement Scholars at Wyoming Seminary: Messersmith of Dallas, Timothy Reddy of Shavertown, and Jeff Ryan of Dallas; sophomores, Karen Boback of Harveys Lake juniors Michael and Kourtney Koslosky of Shav- ertown and first-year student Sara Ruehlman of Tunkhannock. Registration for the exam will take place at 8:30 a.m.; the test will be administered at 9 a.m. Following the exam, school presi- dent H. Jeremy Packard will host a luncheon for students and par- ents. Current Seminary students will conduct tours during the af- ternoon for prospective students and their parents, and admission representatives will meet with families. Students entering ninth or tenth grade who are not currently enrolled at Wyoming Seminary are eligible for the scholarship pro- gram.
