Angley has been selected to receive an Army ROTC (Reserve Officer Training Corps) scholarship and will attend Virginia Military Institute in Lexington, for three years. The cadets are selected for the merit-based scholarship program on basis of their academic record which includes comprehensive fees, as well as a flat rate of $450 annually for books, supplies and equipment, ‘and $1,500 in tax-free spending money. Upon graduation from college and completion of the ROTC program, the cadet will be commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army, National Guard, or Reserve. The cadet will study military science, management development, and experiencing adventure training while pursuing a degree in . ~ chemistry. Angley is the son of James J.
