A cast of 50 to 70 will be selected, to re- hearse beginning in August for performances scheduled on Oct. 10-12 at the Darling Theatre, Wilkes University. This huge en- semble piece requires strong vo- calists, tap dancers, jazz dancers, actors and actresses of all shapes and sizes. No experience is needed. Bring resume if you have one. There will be both traditional and some very non-traditional casting. ~ Astrong male tenor is required for the male lead, and a strong alto with soprano belt required for the female lead. Singers please prepare a strong untempo song for auditions, while dancers should prepare a high energy number of their choice. Acro- bats /gymnasts who sing and move well are also welcome. The event will be held rain or shine on Sun., July 27 at Dallas High School in Dallas. Ride for Dignity particiopants raise a minimum of $150 in pledges to enter the ride, and all proceeds benefit direct patient ~ hospice care. Riders choose one of three courses: the 100K start- ing at 8 a.m. 50K starting at 9:30 a.m. or the 20K starting at 10 a.m. Registration begins at 7 a.m. The bike courses follow roads through the Back Mountain with all rides beginning and ending on the grounds of the Dallas High School. A children’s bike rodeo, fouily entertainment and a picnic begin at 11 a.m. Hospice Saint John's team of- nurses, social workers, doctors, volunteers and chaplains care for terminally ill patients and provide support for the patients’ families.
