Second grade class finishes friendship quilt Mrs. Paczewski’s second grade class at Westmoreland just completed a quilt that they started a few months ago. The theme of the quilt was “Friendship” and the children learned what a friend should be, how each of us needs friends and how to be a good friend to others. Each child enjoyed drawing themselves in favorite clothing or involved in a favorite hobby and the pictures were transferred onto quilt squares and sew together with the help of some mothers. When sewn together, the children are holding hands. P ictured is Mrs. Paczewski’'s class with their finished quilt. STAN WALESKI Basketball (amp ST.
