The celebration will feature an adventure auction including items such as 2 tickets to a Yan- kees vs. Mariners game. Kokopelli opened just three weeks ago, of- fering a wide variety of “mystical” books. Owner Diane Hoover said she had dreamed of opening the store for years. “It's some- thing I've always wanted to do,” she said in a quiet voice. Now, if the word mystical makes you think of voodoo and witchy brews, this isn’t the store for you. To Hoover, “mystical” is the best word to describe the books that represent the spirituality of their subjects and authors. “I re- ally think these books mean some- thing,” she explained as one of the reasons she wanted to open the shop.
