STAGE Concert dedicated to Gerald Wycallis Westmoreland Elementary students are dedicating their Spring Concert to the late Gerald Wycallis, who served as Dallas School District's superintendent for 12 years. The con- cert, “Sing Along With Westmoreland,” will take place at the Dallas Middle School on May 9 at 7:30 p.m. The concert is also intended to help the Back Mountain Food Bank. People are wel- come to drop off food at the school before and at the concert. This is the third Spring Concert involving 4th and 5th grade choruses and 5th grade band. Concerts in the past have revolved around differentthemes. This year’s 4th grade concert will concern Earth Day. The students will sing songs about the environment and display post- ers they have created on Earth Day themes. The 5th grade concert presents a Disney theme and invites everyone to “Sing Along With , Westmoreland.” The students will present a light-hearted production of song and dance to brighten the day and lighten the mood for an evening of entertainment.
