Kingston Township to spray for native caterpillars The Kingston Township Board of Supervisors would like to remind residents that Luzerne County is offering property owners the oppor- tunity to have their property sprayed for native caterpillars. Luzerne County has arranged a contract with Bob Ruhe Ag Service to spray properties at a cost of $14 per acre for a minimum of 10 acres. Therefore, if property owners only have one acre of land, they will have to pay the full $140.The Township highly suggests neighbors to join together to meet the 10 acre minimum. Residents who combine together on a contract can reduce the cost of spraying greatly. Contracts are available at the Township Municipal Building, 11 Carverton Road, Trucksville, PA 18708 between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p-m., Mon.-Fri. The completed contracts and all checks made payable to Bob Ruhe AG Service must be sent to the attention of Mr. Ron Rugletic of Luzerne County Special Projects by April 1.
