LARRY STAGE Danette Doknovitch and Larry Stage wed Sept. 21 Danette Doknovitch and Larry Stage were united in marriage on Sept. 21, 1996, in the Forty Fort United Methodsit Church, in Forty Fort. The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. James A. Wert. The bride is the daughter of Carol Doknovitch and the late Stanley “Dok” Doknovitch of Trucksville. The groom is the son of Robert and Jacqueline Stage of Sidney, NY. The bride, given in marriage by her mother, chose her sister, Carrie Boothe as matron of honor, Gertrude Miller bridesmaid and Ashley Winsten, niece of the groom, flower girl. The groom chose Sean Sands, as best man, Bernard Zemsky, usher. Ring bearer was Aaron Mattis, nephew of the bride. Scriptural readings were narrated by Jennifer Karpovich, cousin of the bride, Sandra Mattis and Sheree Doknovitch, sister of the bride. Musical selections were performed by Debbie Kelleher organist; Mitchel Jones, brother in law of the groom, soloist. An evening cocktail hour and dinner reception was held at The Genetti Hotel. A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the parents of the groom at the Chicken Coop Restaurant, Wilkes-Barre. The bride was honored at a bridal shower, hosted by her mother, aunts, Sheree Doknovitch, and her attendants, at Mercy Center, Rivers Room, Dallas. The bride is a graduate of Dallas High School and Empire She is employed as a licensed Sosmeiglogist at Beauty School. Mercy Center, Dallas. The groom is a graduate of Sidney High School, Sidney, NY.
