Financial Aid Night will be held at 7 p.m. at the high school. Peggy Charnick, Financial Aid Repre- sentative from .» "College Misericordia, will be the featured speaker and will take parents through the process of filing for financial aid. Parents who have not yet received the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) form by mail, should call 675-5201, Ext. 218, amd we will be happy to provide a form to you. All federal and state financial aid cannot be processed without this form. Please plan on attending Financial Aid Night. It will go a long way towards solving the maze that is the financial aid process. We have had a great response to our Practice S.A.T. test to be given on Sat., Jan. 18 at 10 a.m. and sponsored by Princeton Re- view, the leader in S.A.T. prepara- tion nationwide. The test will be anactual S.A.T. that will be scored and returned to students four days later during the Flex period. Also, all students who take the test will participate in a seminar held by Princeton Review on the 22nd that will give a detailed analysis of a student's performance, test tak- ing tips, and information about the college admission process. All this for $6. The test is open to all high school students and is highly recommended for the college- bound student in any grade sim- ply because it will not mar a per- manent record if a student scores poorly. Students who do not at- tend Dallas can participate by contacting their guidance coun- selor or by calling 674-7215. Re- member, the registration dead- line is Monday, Jan. 13. There are no late or walk in registrations. We hope area students will take advantage of this great service! Some students have not re- ceived their P.S.A.T. or N.E.D.T. test results. Please stop by the Guidance Office at your conve- nience to find out how you did. The Guidance Office has free S.A.T. word lists available for in- terested students. These are words that are often used on the S.A.T. test. If students are inter- ested, they should stop by and ask for one. Happy Holidays to all from the Dallas High School Guidance Of- fice! For some reason the reindeer darted off. And Sana called for the elves to get them back. The elves went, and when they returned it was almost eleven O'clock. They would have to get to every boys’ and girls’ house in one hour. That seemed almost impossible, but they were determined to do so. So they went off. In seconds they finished North and South America and in minutes they finished the whole world.
