At the Pro Plan All-American Dog Pageant held before the walk, Vicki, a Keeshond owned by Dallas residents Jim and Jay Faulkner, tied for first place, winning a 40-Ib. bag of dog food and the chance to participate in regionals Legion Auxiliary slates 'Nite at the Races’ Jean Levi, newly elected presi- dent of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Dallas American Legion in Dallas will serve as chairperson for the Auxiliary A Nite at the Races. The races will be held Nov. 2, at the legion home located on Route 415 and Center Hill Road in Dallas. The doors will open at 7 p.m. with the races beginning at 7:30 p.m. The revenue generated from Nite at the Races and other auxil- iary events will be used for projects the auxiliary sponsors.
