Born March 12, 1942 in West Pittston, he was the son of the late Raymond Mand and Hilda Fisher Bowersox. He resided in Lehman Town- ship for the past 15 years. He graduated from West Pittston High School and Dyke College, Cleveland, OH where he received a bachelor of science de- gree in Public Accounting. He received a master's degree in Busi- ness Administration from the Uni- versity of Scranton. Since 1977, he was employed as the Secretary Business Man- ager of the Lake-Lehman School District. He was previously em- ployed as a teacher by the Ford School of Business, Pottsville; the Business Administrator and Reg- istrar at Lackawanna Junior Col- lege, Scranton; Controller and Ac- countant at United Rehabilitation Service, Wilkes-Barre. He was a memberofthe Lehman United Methodist Church; the Pennsylvania Blue Shield Corp.; the National and Eastern Asso- ciation of College and University Business Officers; the American amd Middle State Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admis- sion Officers; Northeastern Penn- sylvania Independent Colleges Financial Aid Officers, Registrars and Business Officers, where he served as both chairman and sec- retary. He also represented the Lake- Lehman School District in many organizations. He was a member of the Kingston Masonic Lodge 3495 and the Church of Christ Uniting, Kingston, where he was a former Boy Scout leader and a member of the Methodist Men's Group. She graduated from Kingston Township High School, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bloomsburg Normal School and a masters degree from Glassborough College, NJ. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Ply- mouth, its Quilting Club, its Women's Society of Christian Ser- vice, the New Century Club, the Shawnee Senior Citizens, the Phil- harmonic Associaton and the Re- tired Teachers Association. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leland; a sister, Louise Yorks; brothers, Sheldon and John. She was a member of the Noxen Independent Church and the Daughters of the American Revo- lution.
