Jumper (continued from page 9) want to have fun playing base- ball.” Having performed in the shadow of both Lynn Kilduff in golf and Jeff Kunkle in baseball, Justin Jumper knows from ob- servation what it takes to suc- ceed. This year, however, it's his chance to shine, and if the golf season was any indication, op- posing batters had better beware when Justin Jumper is on the mound for the Mounts. Black Knights — (continued from page 9) After such a demoralizing de- feat, getting a team ready to play might seem a tremendously difli- cult task. Coach Gorgone doesn't think so. “Beating Wyoming Area would've been nice, but we're more concerned with being in conten- tion for District 2 playoffs. The three teams fighting for the spots now are Hanover, G.A.R. and us. We have Hanover this week and G.A.R. after them. Playing head to head against these teams will determine who goes on to the playoffs.” Hanover lost to G.A.R. last week, so the Knights are in con- trol of their own destiny. In pre- paring for Hanover, Lehman will have find a way to shut down a versatile offensive attack that can score in many ways. “They have one of the best receivers in the league and they like to throw the ball, but they also have a good set of running backs,” Gorgone said. “The key for Hanover is their quar- terback. They like to utilize him they way we used to use Oliver. We have to stop their quarter- back.” POST PHOTO/JIM PHILLIPS Mike Woronko handed off to Marc Ronczka in Lake- Lehman's game Saturday. r y It's Easy to Subscribe! use the handy coupon | On page 2. 3 POST PHOTO/JIM PHILLIPS LAKE-LEHMAN QUEEN Winter Rusiloski was crowned Lake-Lehman Homecoming Farms & Greenhouses Darling & Sons’ Pumpkins over 5 tons on display Red & White Potatoes in 10 or 50 Ib. bags Indian corn, gourds, cornstalks, straw, scarecrows, tomatoes, Spanish onions, red & green peppers, cabbage red beets, acorn, butternut & spaghetti squash, Hours: Mon. - Fri. 9-6 - Sat. & Sun. 9-5 Located1/2 Mile Off Rt. 309, Dallas, (200 Yds.
