Dallas dumped out to 6-0 half time lead. Raiders offense was led by the running of back Frank Martino. In the second half, defense again dominated. A fine game was played by Paul Mentis, Matt Tucker, John Krispin and Brad Lothridge. The final score, Dallas 20 - Raiders 0, did not show what a good defensive game it was. The Raiders B Team beat the Dallas Mini Mounts on Sunday 21-0 for their fourth straight win and with their win a week ago against Lake-Lehman earned B football bragging rights in the Back Mountain. The Raiders scored on their first two possessions against the Mini Mounts with Bobby Zaruta and Jonathon Barbose crossing the goal line. Pat Harmon added a two point conversion for a 14-0 lead at halftime. Barbose scored again in the third quarter and Billy Youells impressively kicked the football through the uprights for the PAT. Other key performers for the Raiders on offense were Matt Rondina, Steven Salavantis and Eddie Hilstolsky. The Raiders defensive effort including a fumble recovery by Danny Piccillo and interception by Francis Shovlin and Matt Rondina. Also with solid perfor- mances on defense were Jonathan Miller, Michael Burns and David Rowett. The Raiders C Team beat the Dallas Mini Mounts, 6-0. Brian Ostrowsky scored the winning touchdown. Golf tourney aids GOH School The Gate of Heaven School P.T.G. will hold a “Captain and Crew" golf tournament Oct. 12 at the Four Seasons Golf Club, Exeter. Registration will be held at noon, followed by a shotgun start at 1 p.m. The $50 per person fee includes 18 holes, cart, buffet dinner, beverages and prizes for flight winners and contests. Colonial Shootout Tournament in Morristown, NJ over the Labor Day weekend. More than 140 teams participated In their qualifying round, the Flames played all the eventual semi-finalists.
