EDWARD KUBASTI Mr. and Mrs. Kubasti mark 35th wedding anniversary Mr. and Mrs. Edward Kubasti of 105 Lincoln Street, Dallas, “celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary on Sept. 9. Mrs. Kubasti is the former Elizabeth DeRemer, daughter of the late Richard and Ruth DeRemer. ~« Kubasti is the son of the late Joseph and Victoria Kubasti. : They were married in Gate of Heaven Church, Dallas, by the Rev. Michael Rafferty. Mrs. Louise Kubasti of Sweet Valley was maid "of honor and Robert Kubasti of Swoyersville was best man. - Kubasti retired in April from 27 years with Elkay Weaving of { ‘Wilkes- Barre. Prior to that he served in the U.S. Army. He is also a member and president of the Wyoming Valley Radio Controlled Flying Club. Mrs. Kubasti worked in the garment industry and is a member of the West Side Flower Club and Altar and Rosary Society of Gate “of Heaven Church. *..The couple have two children, David Kubasti and Melanie Kopco, and five grandchildren: Justin, Chad and Kristen Marie MR. AND MRS. WILLIAM H. BERGSTRASSER Bergstrassers to celebrate 55th wedding anniversary Mr. and Mrs. William H. Bergstrasser, 160 Shadetree Road, Shavertown, will celebrate their 55th wedding anniversary Sept. 12. They were married at the home of the bride's parents by the late Rev. Enoch Hughes of the Edwards Memorial Church. Their attendants were Ruth Dorothy Williams, cousin of the bride and Henry Bergstrasser, brother of the groom. Mrs. Bergstrasser is the former Ethelda Moon. She retired after 19 years as a music teacher in the Wyoming Area School District. Bergstrasser was employed 33 years as insurance manager for the Lewith and Freeman Real Estate and Insurance Agency. The couple have three children: Mrs. Robert (Jane) Ventre, Scranton; Robert, Wilkes-Barre; Richard, Harrisburg. They also have five grandchildren: Jennifer and Jonathan Ventre, Scranton; Elly, Valerie and William Paul Bergstrasser, Harrisburg. They have one great grandchild, Torrin Bergstrasser of Harrisburg. The couple will celebrate with a family dinner. MEGAN HARDISKY AND DAVID G. ESTOCK nal Megan Hardisky engaged to David Gregory Estock Mr. and Mrs. Joseph F. Hardisky of Dallas announce the ehgage- ment of their daughter, Megan Beth, to David Gregory Estock, son of Mr. and Mrs. David S. Estock of Wilkes-Barre. Miss Hardisky is a 1990 graduate of Dallas High School. She graduated with bachelor of science degree in elementary education from Bloomsburg University and earned a master of science degree in deaf education from Western Maryland College. She is a ‘teacher at the Pennsylvnaia School for the Deaf in Germantown, PA. 4 Estock is a 1987 graduate of E.L.. Meyers High School. He is also a graduate from Penn State University, where he earned, his bachelor of science degree in mathematics. He is currently , em- ployed at Comcast Metrophone in King of Prussia.
