SECTION 2 - PENALTIES Any person who shall violate the provisions of this Ordinance shall be subject to the following penal- ties: (a) First Offense - The skateboard used in violation of this Ordinance shall be impounded by the Police Department of the Borough of Dallas for a period not exceeding fifteen (15) days. If the person violating this Ordinance is a minor, in addition to the confisca- tion of the skateboard as aforementioned, the Bor- ough Police shall notify the parents, guardian, or other person having legal custody of said minor of the violation of this Ordinance and the impounding of the skateboard, and shall provide such individual with a copy of this Ordinance. (b) Second and/or Subsequent Offenses - The skateboard of any person violating the provisions of this Ordinance for the second and/or subsequent time shall be impounded by the Police Department of the Borough of Dallas for a period not exceeding thirty (30) days, and said person shall, upon convic- tion, be sentenced to pay a fine of not less than Fifteen ($15.00) Dollars and not more than Three Hundred ($300.00) Dollars, and costs.
