POST PHOTOS/CHARLOTTE BARTIZEK Two-car accident sends 4 passengers to hospitals DALLAS TOWNSHIP - A two- car accident Aug. 7 shortly after 2 p.m. tied up traffic on Route 415 and Center Hill Road and sent: four people to area hospitals. Police said a 1987 Chevrolet Cavalier operated by Warren Batlow, 56, of RR 4, Dallas, was traveling north on the highway in the construction zone when an orange and white barrel used for temporary traffic control blew in front of his car and became lodged underneath, forcing him to stop. His car was struck in the rear by a 1994 Ford Escort operated by Elizabeth Gittens, 49, of RR2 Shickshinny, who was also trav- eling north on the highway. John W. Gittens, 52, a passen- ger in the Gittens car, who suf- fered minor injuries and com- plained of neck pain, was taken by ambulance to the hospital. Barlow and passenger Kathleen Barlow, 46, also complained of neck pain and were taken to the hospital, along with another pas- senger, Britneyla Chase, 4, who complained of chest and stomach pain.
