The board also unanimously approved a final $17,897,606 budget for next year, with a real estate tax of 158 mills for the sixth consecutive year. The $10 per capita and occu- pational privilege taxes and a one percent earned income tax, which are split with the district's mem- ber municipalities, will stay the same. In other business, the board also unanimously voted to extend its contract with the Dallas Edu- cational Support Personnel Asso- ciation, which represents non- professional employees, until a new agreement is reached.
