Graydon Mayer's watercolors at MacDonald Dallas native Graydon Mayer, a well known watercolor artist, will display his work at College Misericordia’s MacDonald Art Gallery through July 31. The paintings are outdoor scenes that capture the fine detail of such subjects as a tree, a rock forma- tion or a small patch of ground teeming with growth. Graydon Mayer credits his par- ents with the biggest influence on his career. His father took him walking in the woods nea rtheir home in Dallas, always pointing out interesting items. The exhibition is free and open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thurs- day, 12-5 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.; Fri- day, 12-5 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, 1-5 p.m. Closed Mon- day.
