The first NasCUP soccer clas- sic took place in May 1987 al Wyoming Valley West Stadium when the West team defeated the East team,. 4-1. All former NasCUP players who played in any of the nine previous events are invited to attend this year's game when their alumni status will be recognized by the commit- tee arranging the games. Pirates 13 - Orioles 8 Drew Suszko pitched the win with seven strikeouts. Suszklo along with his brother, David, and Jordy Spencer had multiple hits for the Pirates. The duel of Gryskevicz and Krasniak sprayed five hits for the Orioles. Dodgers 9 - Rangers 7 Dale Radzinski's two run single capped a six run fifth inning that propelled the Dodgers to their 11th win of the year. Josh Bryant and Jeremy Moore each had three hits, and Eric Kowalek had a pair. Bryant, Kowalek and Scoll Lozo each had exira base hits. St. Therese's golf tournament June 21 A 1996 Nissan donated by Automobile City, a trip for two to Disney World, donated by Tennenbaum Travel and a new set of clubs donated by 3 T's Custom Golf are the prizes to be awarded for the first golfers to make a hole in one on selected holes during the St. Therese’s/Joe Brennan Memorial Golf Tournament June 21. The captain and crew tourney will be held at Four Seasons Golf Course in Exeter and features a 1 p.m. shotgun start. Prizes will be awarded to the winning teams in mens’, womens’ and mixed flights.
