Allmenus FRIDAY - Centers closed. Dana Sickler will celebrate 95th birthday Nov. 6 Dana Sickler of Sickler Road, Carverton, is celebrating his 95th birthday November 6. He has been a resident of Carverton for 75 years. Mr. Sick- ler was married for 63 years to the late Florence Davis Sickler of Fairmount Springs. His daughter, Lois Perry is a resident of Carverton. He also has two other children, Gloria Ludorf of Nanticoke and Kermit of Carverton. He has six grandchil- dren and six great-grandchildren. Mr. Sickler was raised in Ber- wick, a son of the late Stella and Jed Sickler, and was a plastering contractor until his retirement in 1968, at which time he became proprietor of Frances Slocum State Park boat rental for 15 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and still maintains an interest in these sports and in Yankees baseball. Sickler was president of Carver- ton Rod and Gun Club for 35 years. He enjoys friends and family and has many crafts and hobbies. A family dinner is planned at the home of his daughter.
