IT'S FAIR TIME County fair will open with fun for everyone The Luzerne County Paif will have fun and entertainment for people of all ages. Entertainment will be provided free. On Wednesday, Dee Dee Lee and Family will perform country and Gospel music. Thursday night, Daddy-O and The Sax Maniax, playing a combi- nation of jazz, blues, and rock will perform from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. On Friday the Ron Edwards Oldies Band will play at 7:30 p.m. ~ Saturday's entertainment will feature Kristine and Jim Hull with the foot-stompin country group North Country sponsored by W.D.L.S. “Hot Country 93-7" and Delta Tire. Appearing with Kristen and Jim Hull and North Country will be the Lone Star Dancer, a group of local people who will demonstrate line dancing. Sunday's entertainment will end with Stanky and the Coal Miners, 6 p.m.-through 9 p.m. Special atractions will be The Bob Jones Petting Zoo, Korky the Clown, and strolling banjo player Jim Haner, known as The Banjo Man. In an effort to familiarize the public with the technology avail- able torun a modern day election, the Association will display two voting systems.
