PSU offers two paralegal courses Penn State Wilkes-Barre Campus is offering two courses in the Paralegal Certificate Program this fall. Civil Practice and Procedure (B LAW 5039) will be held on Mondays, beginning Sept. 11. Criminal Law and Procedure (B LAW 5076) will meet on Wednes- days, starting Sept. 13. Both courses will run 10 weeks from 6-9 p.m. at the campus in Lehman. A certificate is awarded upon successful completion of the three required courses and five of the electives. LCCC has low-cost dental hygeine clinic The Luzerne County Community College Dental Hygiene Clinic at the college's main campus in Nanticoke is open to the public. SCIENCE STARS Steam generator wins top prize The Teacher Parent Teen Organization of the Lake-Lehman Middle Level Building awarded a $50 savings bond to Carrie Houssock for the winning 7th grade entry in the annual Science Fair. Carrie built a working steam generator. Top prize for study of electricity David DeSanto placed first in the Lake-Lehman Middle Level Building’s annual Science Fair. He received a $50 savings bond from the Teacher Parent Teen Organization for his study of electrical conductors.
