Call 675-1302 for more information. 9) Gauthier finishes Navy sea duty Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Wallace C. Gauthier, son of Wallace J. and Florence M. Gauthier of Dallas, recently returned to Norfolk; VA from a six-month overseas deployment to the Mediterranean Sony ith the destroyer tender USS Shenandoah. Gauthier was one of 1,528 sailors aboard the ship who completed he 11,000 mile voyage which began in late November. Gauthier's ship served as a floating repair facility for forward deployed U.S. Navy surface ships and their electronic equipmen k rewind electric motors, and exotic metals. Gauthier’s ship also is equipped with machine shops and even has a foundry for maling arts.. > While spending 48 days at sea, Gauthier also visited Crete, Cyprus, Israel, Italy, Sardinia, Sicily and Spain. During tour to Rome, Shenan- doah crew members attended a Papal Audience at St. Peter's Basilica.
