Klick qualified for the team as an outfielder with an impressive showing at last week's fourth and final round of the American Le- gion all-star competition in Phila- delphia. This year's contest will ‘be held in Harrisburg, this Sun- day, July 30th at Riverside Sta- dium. Each squad is made up of 21 players. It's going to be nice for him to get some expo- sure.” After being named to the all- conference high school team as a sophomore, Kiick missed most of the Legion season last summer due to health problems. He re- bounded on the diamond with a vengeance this past spring. Rich finished the '95 high school cam- paign with a .450 batting average, 18 hits, 11 runs scored, three home runs and 16 runs batted in. The home run and rbi totals both ranked second in the Wyoming Valley Conference among class AAA schools.
