Gruen Citizenship Award was presented to John Popko, son of John and Cathy Dymond- Popko, RR 1, Hunlock Crieek. This award is presented annually in memory of Michael Gruen, who was a sixth-grade teacher at Lehman Jackson. At the presentation were Cathy Dyomond-Popko, John Popko and principal Charles C. James.
