Kings of the Back Mountain : The Back Mountain National all- stars topped BMT American July 12, to claim the unofficial Back Mountain championship. The loss eliminated American from the playoffs. National was knocked out when they lost to Plains Friday for the second time in the playoffs. Working with league “officers and board of directors, ‘i.she organized a minor league program for 8 and 9 year old players; a mandatory coaches clinic and added major changes in purchasing of equipment and maintenance materials for the softball field. Joan received a plaque from Kiwanis officials for her dedication to the program held on June 19, 1995. Presenting the plaque, is Robert Dolbear, past president of the Dallas G'S C Dallas Gridiron Golf Tourney July 22 The first annual Dallas Gridi- ron Golf Club Tournament will be held July 22 at the Four Seasons Golf Club. : The entry fee for the captian- and-crew tournament is $50 per player and includes golf, cart, refreshments, dinner and prizes.
