The Dallas Post Dallas, PA Wednesday, April 19, 1995 7 Pauline Jensen Gabriel received the Outstanding Adult Leaner Award from College Misericordia at the Sixth Annual Adult Learner Award Dinner, held recently at Penn State Wilkes-Barre. After graduating from high school, Pauline Gabriel attended St. Bonaventure University, but withdrew after two years to seek employment. During the next years, her job took her to Alabama, New Jersey, and eventually to Pennsylvania, when she married, had two sons, and worked as an instructor at Trucksville Nursery School in Trucksville. .< In the fall of 1992, Pauline de- cided to complete her education at College Misericordia, majoring in medical technology. In additon to sharing her time with her husband and children, Pauline works with the Biological Society, the Dead Alchemists’ Society, Chemistry Department open houses, chemistry research and American Chemical Society. Pauline also volunteers with the American Red Cross and is active in her church, conducting Bible study groups and serving as a member of the Pastoral Board of Holy Child School in Plymouth. ° She and her husband, Jan, have welcomed four foster children into their home. The Career Fair will feature college alumni who will be available to answer questions concerning career options and programs of study leading to those careers. It will be held at the Educational Conference Center. Earns Wagner Scholarship Jeffrey King of Dallas is the recipient of the Wagner Scholarship Fund at Susquehanna Unviversity this year.
