Christopher Hinton offers more than 20 years of business man- agement experience for both cor- porate and private enterprises. His background includes the - ability to establish cost retension using profit and loss statements, long and short range planning, goal setting and time managment. He studied engineering at Oklahoma State University and has a strong background in real estate. He also works with the Boy Scouts with their outings and assists when needed at the Luzerne County Fair. “I offer ethical managementand solid financial practices,” he said. Ruth Eaton, resident and busi- ness owner, has announced her candidacy for a seat on the Har- veys Lake Borough Council. As a council member, Eaton said she will serve all residents of the borough equally by removing politics from the office and basing her decisions on the good of the community. : Eaton, co-owner of Damien's restaurant, has been active in the community for several years as a member of the Harveys Lake MARTIN D. Callahan has been a lifelong resident of Luzerne County, residing at Harveys Lake the past ten years. He graduated from Coughlin Corps scholarship, graduating magna cum laude with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. McMahon is center director of the Rural Health Corp of N.E. PA's Monroe-Noxen Dental Center, Route 29, Noxen, where he has practiced dentistry for 12 years. This July he will receive his Fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry. McMahon serveed two terms on the school director board, from 1989 to 1993. He was board president in 1993, and also served as firstand second vice-president. He served on the Jackson Township General Municipal Authority from 1986 to 1993. McMahon has been a volun- teer coach for the Back Mt. Youth Soccer Assoc., Back Mt. Little High Shcool in Wilkes-Barre and majored in business administra- tion at Luzerne County Commu- nity College for two years. Callahan is the president and chief executive officer of J.M,. Callahan & Sons, a milk and major ice cream distributor throughout New Jersey, New York, Connecti- cut, Maryland, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania. He would like to bring his _ business and management exper- tise to the borough of Harveys Lake. Williams of Sweet Valley has announced his candi- dacy for re-election to the Lake- Lehman Board of Education in the May Primary.
