Teen theater group seeks members for production Northeast Junior Players, the only kid/teen theater company of its kind in NE PA, is searching for new members, age 7 through high school seniors. Additional cast members are needed for a musical theater pro- duction of “Cinderella” planned for the Spring of '95. Auditions and rehearsals will begin by Nov. ‘13. Teens who sing, dance or act, or are interested in set design, . lighting, or stage management may leave a message at 655-1059 or 655-8106 as soon as possible. In addition to a spring theater production, the group will also present teen-issue related plays ‘and a variety of other perform- ‘ances in the future. This group is non-profit and is supported solely by membership fees, community ‘and corporate funding, and a strong parents organization. Still needed for the production of “Cinderella”: Teen males for the parts of King, Troubador, Foot- man, Father, Steward and for the Ball scene. Additional parts are available for female dancers, chorus members, townspeople. No experience is necessary. Each member will learn from profes- sionals about every aspect of performance, stage design, and theater management. Fundraising Chairperson is Trudi Steele. Please contact any of the above people by leaving a message at 655-1059. | Back Mountain briefs Victorian dollhouse to visit Bay Window On Nov. 25-26, the Victorian dollhouse offered by Wyoming Valley ‘Habitat for Humanity as the prize in its holiday raffle, will be on display ‘at the Bay ‘Window Shop; 100 E. Overbrook Road, Shavertown. The tickets are $1.00 or six for $5.00. The proceeds will help the local Habitat affiliate to continue its ministry of providing decent housing in Wyoming Valley. Refreshments will also be served at the shop. St. Paul's to host Thanksgiving Eve service St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 196 N. Main St., Shavertown, will hold a communion Thanksgiving Eve service sponsored by the Back Moun- tain clergy, November 23 at 7:30 p.m. Guest speaker will be Father J. Peter Krynes from St. Therese's Church. A reception will follow the service. All are welcome. ‘One-man show at King's Dec. 1 Attorneys Yanik, Marsh form new law practice Attorneys Robert E. Marsh, Jr. and Glenn G. Yanik announce that they have formed a partner- ship for the general practice of law, Marsh & Yanik. The law firm will continue to occupy the offices of the former law firm of Hoegen & Marsh at 25 North River Street, Wilkes-Barre. Attorney Glenn G. Yanik is a native of Wilkes-Barre, where he graduated from Coughlin High School in 1970. He is also a graduate of Prince- ton University, where he was se- lected by the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs to participate in its under- graduate program, which he completed upon graduation from the University in 1974. He received his law degree from Georgetown University in 1977. After graduating from law school, he was a trial attorney for the Civil Division of the United States Department of Justice in Wash- ingten, D.C. before returning to Luzerne County in 1982. Yanik is the son of Rita Yanik and the late George T. Yanik of the North End Section of Wilkes- Barre. He is married to the former Marianne Hogan of Waverly, New York.
