MILDRED LUDES, RSM Sister Ludes celebrates 104 years Sister Mildred Ludes, RSM, recently celebrated her 104th birthday and received a special greeting from Willard Scott dur- ing TODAY's morning broadcast. Sr. Mildred, a native of Lykens, PA, entered the Sisters of Mercy, Dallas Regional Community, in Harrisburg and made her pro- fessed vows on August 23, 1911. She received a BA in Science and an MA in History from Villa- nova University and taught at various Catholic schools in the Dioceses of Harrisburg and Lan- caster.
