Mrs. Elston, the daughter of B. Frank Bulford and Ellen Duck- worth Bulford, was born in the home where she resides. Her husband, Clarence Elston, died in 1986. She is a member of the Huntsville U.M. Church and Nesbitt Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. Her son, Harold, lives on Reservoir Rd., Huntsville and daugh- ter, Nancy, lives in State College. Mrs. Elston has six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and two in heaven, one great-great grandson and several nieces and nephews. Make-A-Wish helps area girl The Make-A-Wish Foundation Northeastern Pennsylvania has of Northeastern Pennsylvania will reach a milestone on Saturday, Nov. 12 as it grants its 100th wish to an area child. Carrie Booth, 15, of Trucksville who suffers from Spina Bifida, will have her wish granted by the foundation: a hydraulic lift gate and home wheelchair ramp. To raise the $4,000 to make Carrie's dream come true, the Make-A-Wish Foundation of teamed up with T.G.I. Friday's. On November 12, a percentage of the entire day's patron receipts at T.G.l. Friday's Kidder Street Restaurant will be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Northeastern Pennsylvania. Beth Hartshorne earns three awards In dance Beth Hartshorne of Orange recently earned awards in solo, duo, and group dance at the Pre- cision Unlimited Dance Competi- tion at the Mountain Laurel Re- sort in the Poconos. Beth won second place with her solo pointe number, “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy”. She and her duo partner, Kara Shilinski of Wilkes-Barre won first place in the lyrical category. They won second place in the tap division and the Duo-Trio award, awarded to the highest scoring duo or trio of the entire competition. Beth is also a member of the Bobbettes, a dance company under the direction of Barbara Woronko Anzalone at the North- eastern Pennsylvania Academy of Dancing in Kingston. Beth is a ninth grade studen at Dallas Senior High School. She is the daughter of Rev.
