It was also a day of remembrance of Thomas R. Bunney Jr. who passed away August 30, 1992. Special guests of honor were their parents, Thomas and Mary Bunney, who are now residents of the Meadows Nursing Home in Dallas.Also attending was Mary Bunney’s sister Margaret McDonnell, and her niece Karen Evans. Family members unable to attend were Raymond Besecker, Desiree Saraka; Mr. and Mrs. Brian Bunney and children; Mr. and Mrs. Donald Bunney and son Tommy; and Mrs. Josephine Bunney. Lehman's Haunted Barn will open October 14-15 The Haunted Barn at Lehman will be open October 14 and 15, 20-23 and 27-30 from 7 p.m. - 10 p.m. school nights, and 7 p.m. - 11 p.m. on Fridays and Satur- days. Your admission benefits the Lehman U.M.Y.F., the Lehman Volunteer Fire Co., the Lehman Area Girl Scouts and the Wyo-/ ming Valley Children’s Aid Fund. In 1985 the Lehman United Methodist Youth Fellowship group established the Wyoming Valley Children’s Aid Fund to assist lo- cal students who were terminally or critically ill. Since 1985, the youth group has donated more than $6,000 to needy children and children's assistance organi- zations in our area. Grants are given to families on need and after review by a Children’s Aid Fund Committee. The Wyoming Valley Children's Aid Fund is solely funded by the efforts of the Lehman U.M.Y.F. The youth have again pledged 30% of their profits from their annual Haunted Barn for the fund and ask that people of the area sup- port them in their efforts to con- tinue financing the Children’s Aid Fund.
