Customers are requested not to cover outside gas meters and water remote read devices when shoveling snow from sidewalks and drive- ways. PG&W also reminds customers and city crews to be aware of fire hydrants during snow removal. Itis essential for public safety that fire hydrants also remain visible and accessible. Trucksville Methodist Women to hold dinner The United Methodist Women of Trucksville will serve a family style Pork and Sauerkraut Dinner on Saturday, Feb. 12, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall of the Educational Building, on Church Road in Trucksville. The menu will be: roast pork, sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, and gravy, mixed vegetables, homemade applesauce, rolls and butter, homemade apple or cherry pie, coffee, tea and fruit punch. Tickets are available from any UMW member or the church office at 696-3897. The price is $6 for adults and $3 for children under 12 years of age. Seating is limited. There will be no takeouts. Arts Council seeks regional artists The Wyoming County Arts Council is compiling a comprehensive list of regional visual artists, crafts people, musicians and musical organi- zations, theater groups and actors, dancers and writers, and requests “help from the community. Wengen is promoted at First Eastern According to a recent an- nouncement by Frederick A. Deal, president and chief executive offi- cer of First Eastern Bank, N.A., Frank B. Wengen has been pro- moted to vice president. Wengen is the administrator of the Bank's Community Business Lending department within the Retail Lending unit. He is respon- sible for planning, directing and controlling the community busi- ness loan function, including product management, business development and sales. Prior to being named administrator, Wengen served as retail loan origi- nation manager, in which capac- ity he was credited with develop- ing and implementing a success- ful consumer loan sales training program for branch sales person- nel. A graduate of G.A.R. High School in Wilkes-Barre, Wengen received a B.F.A. from Wilkes University in 1978. He also com- pleted a two-year program with the National Institute on Con- sumer Credit Management at Marquette University, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
