She was a 1979 graduate of Lake-Lehman High School, gradu- ating in the top 10 percent of her class; and in 1985 from Wilkes University, receiving a bachelor’s degree in business administra- tion. She was employed as a book- keeper for the Association for Retarded Children, Wilkes-Barre. She was a volunteer for Mercy Hospital, Wilkes-Barre; the De- partment of Veterans Affairs Medical Center; and the Brownie Troop for Crippled Children, Dor- rance. She was a member of St. Ther- ese Church, Shavertown. She was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph.
