E] rd Kingston Township police chief James Balavage reminds residents that the winter parking ordinance is in effect as of November 1, 1993 and continues through March 31, 1994. Under this ordinance residents are prohibited from parking vehicles on township streets between the hours of 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. each day. The ordinance is designed to keep the township streets open and clear so that the snow removal measures undertaken by the road depart- ment will be effective. The police chief urges all residents to cooperate by complying with the township ordinance. TO ALL DALLAS AREA VOTERS and especially Election. TO DALLAS PARENT S: I am running for School Director for a very singular purpose. I feel it is time that the students of Dallas become the primary focus of any situation. or decision the School Board is considering. Too many times in the recent past, decisions have been made to save money or placate certain factions in the community, which have resulted in decisions being made that have been to the detriment of our students. - C.A.T. scores are slipping, and secondary students’ are unable to get courses they need to adequately: prepare for college or entry into the job market. A student survey sent out by the Citizen's Advisory Committee, of which I am a member, has virtually . been ignored by the Board and school Administrators. I believe our children need an advocate on the School Board. If elected to the Board, I pledge to consider the children FIRST in any situation that comes _ before me, and I ask for your vote in the upcoming Pamela M. Langdon Sweet deal.
