Charles Kish- baugh, the new Lt. Governor of District 15 and a member of the Dallas Kiwanis Club will admini- ster the oath of office to both clubs new officers. Joseph Schwartz will take the ioath of President for the Dallas ‘Kiwanis and John Rogers will take ‘the oath of President for the Back ‘Mountain Kiwanis. All members ‘of both clubs are asked to attend ‘and make reservations with their iprospective clubs representatives. | The installation will begin at 6 p.m. with dinner followed by the installation of officers of both clubs. The Dallas Club will then hold a short business meeting land then a social gathering will follow. W- B General Hospital seeks volunteers The Wilkes-Barre General Hospital campus of Wyoming ' Valley Health Care System, Inc. is currently seeking men and women to join its volunteer corps. Nearly 500 individuals participate in the hospital's volunteer program, and each plays an important role as a member of the health care deliv- ery team. In addition to staffing the gift shop, in-service desk and hospitality cart, volunteers also assist in the Surgical Services, Outpatient Testing, Escort Serv- ices, and Admission Departments. Volunteering can be a reward- ing experience which provides an opportunity for individuals to learn new skills, develop new inter- ests and make new friends. Kingston Township Class of '41 holds 52nd reunion The Kingston Township Class of 1941 recently held their 52nd reunion at the Irem Temple Coun- try Club. The weekend started on Friday evening with members meeting at the Grotto, Saturday at the Irem Temple Countrty Club and Sun- day morning at Mark II. The next reunion will be the 55th in 1996. The committee will meet Decem- ber 11 at the Beaumont Inn for a Christmas party. Red Cross to begin training volunteers September 27 All volunteer staff of American Red Cross Blood Services per- forming regulated functions at bloodmobiles must be certified and competent to perform those func- tions. To demonstrate that vol- unteer staff possess the proper skills, the Regional Blood Center will be conducting inservice and training sessions which start throughout the region on Sep- tember 27.
