He came to the U.S. in 1927, and had resided in Plains. He worked in various area coal mines for five years. He then moved to Green Point, Brooklyn, N.Y., where he resided for 60 years. He was employed by the Sunshine Biscuit Co., the Brooklyn Navy Yard, and then at City Hall, New York City. He resided in Harveys Lake for the past nine years. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Rus- sian Orthodox Church ofthe Trans figuration, Green Point, Brooklyn. He and his wife, the former Mary Marynak, celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary on Sept. 30, 1992. He was preceded in death by brothers, Alexis, George and Al- exander. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, Paul, Queens, N.Y.; daughters, Barbara, Alexis and Victoria Grecki, all of New York City; two grandchildren.
