Kanuck, Freeland and Gerald H. Rollman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank G. Rollman, Dallas, were united in marriage Saturday, May 1, in St. Mary's B.C. Church, Freeland. The Rev. James Demko performed the double ring ceremony. Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose her sister, ~ Donna M. Kanuck, Allentown, as maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Kimberly S. Rollman, Dallas, sister of the groom; Michelle Paglia, Pottstown and Carol Hylen, Parksburg. Thomas Shannon, McLean, VA, was the best man and the ushers were Richard A. Rollman, Plainsboro, NJ, brother of the groom; John M. Kanuck, Freeland, brother of the bride and Harry Canfield, Silver Springs, MD. Cocktails and dinner followed the ceremony at the Best Western Genétti Motor Lodge, Hazleton. A rehearsal dinner, hosted by the parents of the groom was held at the Saber Room, Wilkes-Barre. The bride was honored at a shower given by her mother at Reflections Lounge, Hazleton. Mrs. Rollman is a graduate of Penn State University with a bachelor of science degree in finance. She is senior credit analyst at the Dauphin Deposit Bank, Harrisburg. Rollman, a graduate of Penn State University with a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering is a roadway design engineer for the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, Harrisburg. Following a honeymoon in Montego Bay, Jamaica, the couple are residing in Hershey. A Planning arts festival Arts at Hayfield will hold its ninth annual Summer Festival and Craft Show at the Penn State Wilkes- arre campus in Lehman on Sunday, August 29 from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. ore than 2000 people are expected for the day-long event which will feature the works of juried rartisans and crafters. Musical entertainment will include Quick Draw, Just Us and the Anzalone Broth- ers and Co. There will be lots of food and children’s activities including Pat Ward's magic show, fence ainting , a “Discovery” play area and a karate demonstration. Thirty youth and youth leaders will be in Dallas, conducting Back Yard Bible Clubs. On Saturday, July 24, members and friends will join the Covenant Youth Group at Hershey Park where they will give a concert. On Sunday, July 25,. the group will give a concert at Dallas Baptist Church at 7 p.m. Dallas church families will host youth in their homes. The church will have lunches, dinners, fun and fellowship. All are welcome to the Sunday evening concert at the Dallas Baptist Church. Wilkes to hold French camp July 26-30 The French Academy in collaboration with Wilkes University, will offer a week-long day camp, “The French Experience”, for students ages 5-16. The third annual camp will take place Monday through Friday, July 26-30, on the Wilkes campus. Multilevel intruction, by Pennsylvania state certified teachers and native speakers, will include both language and cultural activities for students.
