Mrs. Stanton is the former Marilla Martin. They owned and operated a T.V. and Appliance Store in the Dallas Shopping Center for many years. They have two sons, Robert A. and Carl J. and one grandson, Bobby. They were married by Rev. A.G. Herr in State College, Pa. and have lived at RR 6, Dallas, most of their lives. They are members of the East Dallas Methodist Church. Engle family welcomes son Les and Kim (Dinger) Engle of age 2 1/2 years. Dillsburg, Pa., announce the birth of their son, Micah Lee, on May 16, weighing 7 lbs. 11 oz. and 21" long. Micah has a sister, Dana Leigh, Grandparents are Faith and LaMar Dinger of Dallas and Donald Engle and the late Alma Engle of Mount Joy. Back Mountain briefs Shavertown U.M. Mary Circle dinner June 15 The Mary Circle of the Shavertown U.M. Hunlock Creek Bible School June 21-25 The Hunlock Creek United Methodist Church will conduct a Vaca- tion Bible School, Monday, June 21 to Friday, June 25 each morning from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The school will include study of Bible stories, craft time and a refreshment period. Back Mountain Senior Citizens plan June activities The Back Mountain Senior Citizens, under the direction of Project Head, held a monthly business meeting recently with Irene Katyl, president, presiding. High bowlers were Marie Yuknavage and John Bosak. President Katyl had on display a Certificate of Appreciation awarded to the group for those who bowled for the benefit of the “Big Brothers, Big Sisters Organi- zation. Planning chairlady, Ann Balav- age, reminds members who plan to attend the pre-game Tailgate party to meet at the Lackawanna Stadium parking lot, June 27, at 4 p.m. On June 17, the group will meet at 1 p.m. at Pizza Perfect, Trucksville for a Dutch Treat Luncheon and brief meeting. The fathers of the club will be honored at this time. The club will have space at the Market on the Pond Flea Market at the Meadows, June 19.
