Sterling Casterlin, 83, of Huntsville, died May 19, 1993, in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. Born in Wilkes-Barre he was the son of the late Walter and May Smith Casterlin. He resided in Huntsville for the past nine years. He was employed by the Wilkes- Barre office of the Pennsylvania Bureau of Employment as an employerrelations representative. Later, he was the local represen- tative of the National Alliance of Businessmen. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 61, Wilkes-Barre, Bloomsburg Consistory and Irem Temple. Surviving are his wife, the for- mer Marjorie Ashelman; daugh- ter, Nancy Knight, Harlingen, Texas’; granddaughter, Kristy Knight, Austin, Texas; grandson, Bryan Knight, Port Chester, NY; brother, Asa Casterlin, Wyoming. Born in Luzerne, he was the son of the late George and Ann Hutnick Dorosky. Prior to his retirmeent, he was employed for 38 years by M&G Convoy Trucking Co., Delaware. He was a member of St. Mary's Nativity Church, Plymouth, and was an associate member of American Legion Post 672, Dal- las. He was preceded in death by brothers, Thomas, John, George, Carl and Joseph; and sister, Mary Moran. Surviving are his wife, the for- mer Rose Alksmant; sons, Adam Jr., Newark, Del.; Edward, Bear, Del.; one grandson; sisters, Dorothy Samuels, West Wyoming; Vera Dorosky, Exeter; brothers, Justin, Kingston; William, Mechanicsburg. Hanover Township, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Josephine Balcer Knapp. She resided in Plymouth and Sweet Valley for many years. She was amember of St. Mary's Church, Plymouth. Surviving are her husband, John; daughter, Mrs. Maureen Roginski, Sweet Valley; son, Dr. John Kovitch, Frederick, MD; two grandchildren; brothers, Joseph Knapp, Edwardsville; Louis Knapp, Plymouth; sister, Mrs. Mary Myers, Plymouth; numer- ous nieces and nephews. The funeral will be 8:30 a.m. Thursday, from the Grontkowski Funeral Home, 530 W. Main St., Plymouth with Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in St. Mary's Nativity Church.
