Originally scheduled for March 29, but due to a school conflict, the date has been changed to March 31, at 7:30 p.m. in the Lake-Lehman High School Library. Boy Scout Troop 693 forms at Ruggles UMC Ruggles United Methodist Church is pleased to welcome Boy Scout Troop 693 to Harveys Lake. The troop has seven boys currently involved, and meets on Friday evenings at 7 p.m. at the church. Presently, the troop is planning many exciting activities and high adventure events. The Lake Silkworth Area Lions met recently at a dinner meeting held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church Hall. Noell Brooks was named “Student of the Quarter” at Lake-Lehman High School and was presented with a certificate in recognition of outstanding school and community achievement. Brooks is a National Honor Society member, a three-year member of the, Key Club, in the peer tutoring program where she is currently tutoring two-four students and attended Rotary Leadership Camp at College Mis- ericordia. Athletically, Brooks played field hockey and served as tri-captain, is a three-year mem- ber of the softball team and played on the Big League All-Star State Championship team.
