Transmission, 675- 1504, Mon.-Fri., 8 a.m.-6 p.m. 1) The oil should be contained in a clear HDPE water jug be- cause it can reveal impurities. 2) Deposits are limited to 5 gallons per visit. 3) You must take the empty ished. 4) The jug must not contain anything other than motor oil. 5) The depositor must sign a log confirming that there is noth- ing in the container other than motor oil. 6) If you refuse to sign the log, oil will not be accepted. 7) ‘Should you need a container(s) for your used oil, contact a D.A.M.A. Recycling Representative at 696-1134. Benefits of Used Oil Recycling: e It takes only one gallon of used oil to make the 2.5 quarts of lubricating oil that it takes 42 gallons of crude oil to make. e If all of the used oil in the U.S. were recycled, it would save us 1.3 million barrels of oil per day. e Re-finishing oil takes only about one third the energy re- quired to refine crude oil to lubri- container(s) with you when fin- cant. Tax bills are in the mail Dallas Borough Dallas Borough tax notices have been mailed to property owners. To take advantage of the 2% rebate payments must be received by April 15. Tax Collector Thomas Reese's office will be open on Monday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturday mornings from 9 a.m. to noon. He can be reached by phone at 675-5929. Lehman Township Lehman Township Tax Collector Peggy Moyer announced that the 1993 County /Municipal tax bills have been mailed. The bills have been mailed to the last known address. Anyone not receiving their tax bill should notify the tax collector. For those homeowners having an escrow account, promptly forward the property tax bill on to your bank or mortgaging company for payment. Per capita taxes are issued to all residents of the township 18 years and older. Anyone who does not receive a bill should notify the tax collector. The rebate period ends April 8, and face endsJune 7. Anyone mailing in their taxes and would like a recept should enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope.
