General Hospital selects Patel as top junior volunteer Ashish Patel, of Dallas, recently was selected Junior Volunteer of the Month at Wilkes-Barre Gen- eral Hospital for outstanding serv- ice in the Escort, Emergency Serv- ices and Neurophysiology Depart- ments. A senior at Wyoming Seminary, Patel participates in the school’s drama, choral and orchestra ~ groups and is a member of the tennis and soccer teams. He also is active in Students Against Violat- ing the Environment (SAVE), a group which works to preserve the environment through collection and recycling activities. In recognition of his 38 hours of service to the hosptial, Patel was awarded two gift certificates for dinner, compliments of Pizza Hut.
