Mike & Marge Brown Mitchell's aunt wrote this poem and we would like to share it with everyone. MITCHELL Just a short time ago, In the early hours of the morn, On a cold day in March, Our dear Mitchell was born. At first, we weren't sure the tiny child would survive: it was our prayers and God's grace That kept him alive. He was so very precious To his mom and dad; His brothers were the best friends That he ever had. He brought love to his grandmas, In his own special way; Going for walks, playing games, Or picking them a bouquet. The simple little pleasures That brought him such joys; Our family picnics, the car shows, and his match-box toys. How we loved his bright eyes And the freckles on his face--- It's these little reminders That time can't erase! It just doesn't seem fair That we suffer this grief; to have such a sad ending To a child's life, so brief. We must have faith in God; we trust He knows best; He'll hold Mitchell in his arms, As we lay him to rest. Mitch will always be missed By the friends that he had, By Michael and Matthew, By his mom and dad. In the hearts of his loved ones, He will always live on. He will never be forgotten; He will never be gone.
